What is ‘energy deregulation?’
A few years ago the law makers decided to bring market competition to the sale of electricity and natural gas in New York. At one time in the past we had no choice but to buy our energy from ConEd. This is NO LONGER the case. We can choose another provider, and in fact, we are encouraged by ConEd and the law makers to choose another provider so as to assist in fostering competition which could help to decrease the energy prices. It has happened in this manner in other states when consumers exercised their right to choose. Do YOUR part and help make it happen here!
A company that supplies retail electricity/energy to the end consumer in New York. ESCO’s are also known as Electricity Service Companies, or Energy Service Companies. Since the energy market was deregulated in New York, ESCO’s are the companies competing for your business! Ambit Energy is the only company using ‘referral marketing’ to gather customers in this newly deregulated market. With referral marketing, the common citizen can earn an income for recommending Ambit Energy as the ESCO to supply electricity and gas for anyone they know or come into contact with.
Why should we switch from ConEd?
There are many reasons all citizens should switch away from the old monopoly provider, ConEd. Here are just a few:
- Ambit Energy guarantees the customer they will pay less for their energy than they would pay ConEd
- Once a customer switches, they will never again have to pay the 1-2 % tax charged on the Delivery Fee
- Switching to Ambit Energy fosters competition in the marketplace; this forces prices down
How long has this ESCO Ambit Energy been in business?
Ambit Energy opened for business in Texas in mid 2006. The company’s first expansion occurred in New York City in mid 2007. Ambit Energy is about to open for business in Northern Illinois. Ambit Energy has plans to expand into other areas of New York in the near future. The company’s revenues for 2008 are expected to be in the neighborhood of $300 million.
Does this ESCO provide electricity only?
No, Ambit Energy also provides natural gas at a savings to certain areas of New York City. Ambit Energy will be providing natural gas in the northern Illinois market. Ambit Energy provides electricity only in the current Texas market.
Where does Ambit Energy get it’s power from?
Ambit has an exclusive, multi-year agreement with Royal Dutch Shell Corporation. RDS is one of the largest producers of energy in the country and the third largest company in the World!
How do we get paid by this ESCO/Ambit Energy?
All ESCO’s, including Ambit Energy, make money by selling electricity and gas. Ambit Energy uses Independent Consultants (you and me) to gather energy customers. For every customer you and your team gathers Ambit Energy will pay the consultant a monthly commission. There are other ways the Consultant earns commissions including significant leadership bonuses for helping other Consultants gather a handful of energy customers. Commissions are paid weekly and monthly. See this PDF file for specifics of the compensation plan. Contact a TeamBravest.com member to discuss details of the plan.
Can only people around New York City participate in this business?
Anyone in the United States can participate in this business. Ambit Energy has plans to move into several new states in the coming years. To become a customer purchasing energy, you must live in one of the current market service areas. Those current areas New York City, parts of West Chester County and much of the State of Texas.
It’s very easy. Click on a link of a Founder on the top right hand side of this website, and contact them to become part of the team. Decide if you just want to save a few bucks on YOUR energy bill, OR if you want to make money you can join us as a business partner. You can then earn a substantial income by helping others you know save money on THEIR bills!
How does Ambit Energy get new customers?
By ‘referral marketing.’ Ambit Energy only gets new customers from the efforts of it’s team of Independent Consultants. Ambit Energy NEVER advertises (TV, radio, print media, etc) for new customers. All customers are gathered through the consultants, and the consultants earn a monthly commission from each customer brought to the company by their efforts. Ambit does not spend millions of dollars on traditional advertising, but pays their team of consultants (me, and possibly you) to get the word out, and generate new business. So the money the company saves by not advertising, is passed on to you and I! Rest assured, Ambit is a legitimate business and completely legal. Ambit Energy has been approved and has received a NYC Utility Commission License to operate in the State of New York; this is a complex process and would not be possible if Ambit was anything less than completely legal, credit worthy, and reliable.
What is the difference between a Customer and a Consultant?
A customer is someone who chooses to buy their power from Ambit, whether it be electricity, gas, or both, at a guaranteed savings over Con-Ed. A Consultant is someone who sees the value of the business opportunity and wants to earn a substantial passive income. By passive we mean that Consultants get paid every month from people paying their energy bill. This is ‘month after month’ income, i.e. ‘passive’ in nature.
I am not a salesman, can I do this?
Certainly! You don’t “sell” anything, you simply offer a service (electricity and gas) that all of us already use. You just offer it at a savings over what most people currently pay. How hard do you think it is to ’sell’ that service?
No money changes hands for the customer. They just get a smaller bill, guaranteed.
