The company is licensed by the State of Texas and by the City of New York, and is a member of the Better Business Bureau. Ambit Energy currently provides energy in the following markets:
- Texas, providing electricity in a market with over 7 million customers.
- New York City, providing electricity in a market with over 3 million customers.
- New York City, providing natural gas to customers in the ConEd territory.
- Northern Illinois, providing natural gas in a market with over 2 million customers.
From all indications it looks as though Ambit Energy revenues for 2008 will approach $300 million dollars!
